Useless Logitech

I have the highest end headphones and mouse from Logitech and they are built to high standard with very good quality in their respective fields, but Logitech are absolutely useless in their approach to soft/firmware devlopment to the point of making their poducts virtually unusable.
So I'm shelving this crap and forking out a tonn again on more reliable companys.
Logitech. NEVER AGAIN.
Lets hope you go bust..ay

They keep breaking after warranty

It has been more than 20 years my favorite brand, for me there was no room for any other competitor when it came to mice, keyboards and webcams.
I am writing with a K740, which had a key broken and I had to buy a faulty keyboard on ebay to fix mine.
I had an MX Master which broke, also this one just after the warranty ended. Bought a new MX Master 3 (the first was faulty but I got a replacement, finger crossed, this still works).
Today in a meeting I was left without audio because my G533 finally broke, the wires inside got damaged as the moving parts probably ripped them apart.
Also for this no official spare parts, I need to browse online to find something.

So bottom line, I was use to use these devices as teenager for gaming, treating them like they were responsible for all my failures... and still they were my best and most reliable companions.
Nowadays I spend a lot compared to alternatives available, and I just use these devices for work, and yet I end up being let down.
My next search won't have the same filters.

Horrible software for managing webcams

Horrible software for managing webcams. Logitune is a waste of time and shouldn't be offered to customers. Simple settings that are available in ANY other software. Making low quality devices along with low quality software. Perfect for the low quality company it has become.

Warranty Support not supported Internationally

I just tried to get warranty support on a Logitech Crayon. I was told as it was purchased in the US and I am now in Ireland they do not support the product.

I would need someone to be in the US to receive a replacement shipment!

Paid premium prices for a wireless…

Paid premium prices for a wireless keyboard G613. After a year and a half it has completely crapped out with double typing. They don’t build their hardware like they used to. Going to be switching brands in the future.

Great chatbot, horrible service

I recently purchased a wireless mouse/ keyboard. Shortly after, the USB malfunctioned and was no longer readable. Since I work from home, I could not wait for a replacement, so I bought another device. I contacted logitech customer service the same day and they told me they could not refund me, I could only wait for a replacement. Do you not understand that the keyboard and mouse were not working and I need them for work? I suppose I could take a few days off unpaid to wait. Will you pay me my salary while I wait? I think not. When you have a product that people need immediately, you need a way to refund people for your faulty products.

Do not buy direct

Do not buy direct, you will be passed from pillar to post if you need to make a return. There is no automated way to make a return, you have to contact their support and get passed around from team to team until you can try and return the product. Logitech products can be great, but buy from Amazon.

Don’t order from them

Don’t order from them. They are so bad that I justify paying Daddy Bezos.

Website lies about shipping times. Oh and it comes from canada lol.

Their product is okay… but as an org? Yuck
